THE RIVER THAMES AT LOW TIDE

On this beautiful day in November, we found some bones on the bottom of the Thames.
The bones were black when we found them, after some washing and drying they turned brown/green, I really liked them black though.

Saturday

Wednesday

ANTENATAL CLASSES

Attending antenatal classes and looking at Japanese pregnant dolls online.

RUG MADE FROM OLD T-SHIRTS

I am braiding this rug, made from old t-shirts. It's very fun, but extremely time-consuming.

Monday

COOKIE AND POOH

This christmas, me and my sister made gay cookies and marcipan/chocolate pooh.

Thursday

HELEN FRANKTHALER IN HER STUDIO

I also found these photographs of Helen Frankthaler in her studio. Truly inspiring.
You can see all of them here.

Wednesday

COLOUR COMBINATIONS

I am looking into colour combinations these days, and I find the proportions and colours of Helen Frankthaler's paintings remarkable. Have a look.

Monday

BLUE NUDE BY MATISSE

I really like the simplicity of Matisse's 'Blue Nude' cut-outs, but that blue colour especially is just such a fantastic colour.

Tuesday

ORIGAMI

I've folded tons of origami cranes in my childhood, so today I folded some other animals, just for the fun of it. The cow is very easy and a bit too boring, the camel I really like the look of though.
